About Us: What's New at Biodiversity Project
Biodiversity Project Welcomes New Board Members, Sara Race and Gary Wilson
January 2, 2009

Our recent move to Chicago brings multiple opportunities to expand our horizons and expertise, and as such, we are eager to welcome two local talents to our Board of Directors. Joining the organization’s board are Oak Park, IL, resident Gary Wilson, who recently retired from United Airlines after a 30-year career, and Sara Race, Senior Environmental Compliance Specialist for Commonwealth Edison, the electric utility that services much of northern Illinois.

New board member Gary Wilson says, “I'm honored to join the Board of the Biodiversity Project. Jennifer Browning and her staff are bringing a dynamic environmental communication model to the Great Lakes and Mississippi River watersheds. The relocation to Chicago is a plus and they will fit well with an already vibrant environmental community. This is an exciting time for Biodiversity Project and I'm glad to be a part of it.”

With a longheld passion for the Great Lakes, environmental experience and years of business savvy to consult, Race and Wilson will play a key role in further establishing Biodiversity Project’s roots in Chicagoland.
