Announcing the NEW Great Lakes Town Hall Website

A program of Biodiversity Project, the Great Lakes Town Hall has experienced extraordinary growth since its inception in 2005 – nearly 100,000 visitors in 2008! – so this past fall, we launched a Town Hall renovation project. The newly renovated Town Hall launched Monday, January 19th!

The Great Lakes Town Hall provides a virtual space for Great Lakes residents in eight states and two provinces to share stories, debate issues and create an online community dedicated to the Great Lakes.

New features include user profiles and a photo gallery, as well as sections featuring grassroots organizations and high-profile individuals. These improvements provide new opportunities for the dialogue and community participation that are the basis for the site's success and are essential to cultivating a community that cares about Great Lakes culture and health.
